Please remember that we are trying to rid our farm and the world of plastics.  If you don't need plastic bags, please don't order them.  Since the seedlings are moist when we ship them, we prefer not to put the seedlings in burlap or other bags for shipment - we would package them separately in the same box, unless you order them that way, of course.

Fraser firs are known as "the Cadillac of Christmas trees," with blue-green color, soft needles, strong branches, and outstanding needle retention...however, they need the correct conditions to do well.  Well-drained acidic soil is a must!  Full sun preferred.  They seem to be somewhat more susceptible to root diseases especially if planted where the soil is not well-drained.

The seed source for our Fraser fir plug seedlings is the Roan Mountain seed orchard. (far eastern Tennessee very close to North Carolina)  Hardiness zones recommended: 4 to 7.
